Sometimes, all you need is to hang around a little kid.

There are more important things in life than worrying about your next grade, if you're going to get into college and if your job is going to pay enough to support yourself.

Granted, these things are very important.

I just came back from meeting my little brother for Big Brothers Big Sisters. My little brother's name is Arnaldo; he is so adorable. Even at eight-years-old this little boy has taught me to take a second and take a breath.

Just spending an hour with him made me smile so much and forget for a minute what was waiting for me on my computer when I arrived home.

Sometimes you just need to take a minute (or hour) out of your day and de-stress or take a nap for an hour or so. Sit back and take a look around. Think about why you're trying to get the A, trying to get into college or why you're trying so hard to fit in with a group you never really did in the first place.

It really puts some things into perspective. But you always have to come back and make sure everything gets done. Like right now.

Off to write an AP chem lab.
